Rosi Holiday House cares about the environment.
The holiday home is located in a beautiful natural setting.
It is important to us that the environment around us is clean.
We make sure that our day-to-day operations are as economical as possible, with a small footprint.
- Waste is sorted and used as much as possible on site: leftover food from campers goes to the animals, paper/cardboard is used as firewood in a hotplate or fireplace, bubble wrap is returned, glassware is recycled.
- We use eco-labelled cleaning and detergent products, and products and materials that are produced in an environmentally friendly way and as ecologically clean as possible.
- We use local services and products wherever possible, including offering/brokering them to our holidaymakers.
- Preventing the use of disposable dishes – we have stocked the kitchen with enough of everything.
The environmental policy of the Rosi Holiday Home:
The aim of Rosi Holiday House is to offer a holiday as close to nature as possible.
Our work is guided by the following principles:
- The day-to-day operation of the holiday home will not create additional negative pressures on the natural environment or disturb local life;
- The equipment and machinery in the holiday home is as energy efficient as possible;
- We use a geothermal heating system to heat the holiday home;
- It’s safe to drink from the tap in the cottage, as the water comes from our own borehole. The drinking water is clean and mild-tasting, and we make it popular with children.
- Our environmental values and policies are understood and respected by our visitors;
- We value local, nature-friendly products and services and offer them to holidaymakers;
We value active outdoor recreation; - We use solar energy produced by our own solar power plant.
